Getting help with law

Law students specially trained in using and teaching Westlaw UK and Lexis Library hold clinics during term-time and the Law subject team are always willing to offer help and advice, whether or not you are a Law student.

These student representatives can also help prepare you for certification in using these legal resources, which is very valuable for Law students who might need to use these databases in their careers.  Details on taking the certification assessments are available from the Law subject page.

Where and when?

The student representatives for Lexis Library and Westlaw UK are both available during term-time during their weekly clinic hours, advertised on the Law subject pages.  You can always email the Law subject team at any time and they will respond as soon as they are able.  The contact details for the Law subject team are available on the Law subject page.

If your question is not strictly Law related or is about accessing Library resources in print or online, please contact the main Library Enquiries Service in the first instance who may be able to get back to you even more quickly.
