The University Library houses the largest computer suite on campus, including over 500 networked PCs and several networked Apple iMacs.

The PCs on the ground floor are arranged to make it as easy as possible for you to collaborate with your neighbours, should you want to, or to work independently if you prefer.

For flexible study in areas of the Library without networked PCs, including study rooms, you can borrow one of around 400 loanable Windows laptops to plug in or connect wirelessly to the University network.

Who is it for?

Only current staff and students may use the networked computers.  Visitors from other institutions that use Eduroam are welcome to connect to our wireless network to access their own institution's resources.

Information Services staff are available to assist when needed.

Where and when?

Networked computers are available on every floor of the Library but most are on the ground floor.

Locations of available ground floor PCs are displayed on screens in the Atrium.
