Legal resources for walk-in access

If you are a member of the public looking for legal advice we suggest contacting the Citizens Advice Bureau or the University Law Department, who run a General Legal Advice Clinics in Portsmouth for members of the public.
While legislation is freely available from, all law should be read in conjunction with the changes information published on this website.
Case transcripts are also freely available from BAILII but judgements need to be examined carefully in light of the latest judicial thinking before being used and BAILII offers no help with this.  The government legislation website provides copies of legislation as it was first published but offers no guarantee this is still the current version in force.
