Requesting books and journal articles that we don’t hold
We do our best to provide all the resources you might need, but occasionally there are gaps. Where this happens, we can usually ask other libraries for help. They may send a copy of a journal article or a book chapter that you can keep, or they may loan a book to us for a few weeks that you can usually take home like one of our books.
Anyone can request an interlibrary loan – you just have to register the first time you use the service.
It’s a good idea to check the Discovery Service first to make sure we don’t have it. If we don’t have access, you will see a link to request an interlibrary loan, and all the details will be filled in for you.
If you can’t find any mention of the material you want in Discovery, you can fill in a form via the Interlibrary Loans Service page.
