You may be relieved to learn that the anticipated interruption to the interlibrary loans service is no longer scheduled to take place.  We now expect that the interlibrary loans service is unlikely to be interrupted at all, and if it is it will be suspended for at most half a day.  We will let you know in advance of any planned service disruption.  Thank you for your understanding.


We will be upgrading the interlibrary loans request system later this summer.  For two weeks starting on Tuesday 27 August, you will need to submit a printed form available from the Library Help Desk.  Alternatively, if you are requesting a loan of an entire book, you can email the library interlibrary loans team with the details.  If you need any other sorts of material or if you have any questions or concerns, please email the Interlibrary Loans Team at interlib@port.ac.uk.

 

Printed interlibrary loan request forms

If you choose to complete a printed request form, please ensure you complete both sides of the form.  The form may be handed into staff at the Library Help Desk, posted into the red post box near the IT Help Desk in the Library, or both sides scanned and emailed to interlib@port.ac.uk.

 

Submitting interlibrary loan requests by email without using a form (if you are requesting an entire book only)
