Choosing where to study
Please note: this page is currently being prepared and not available to view.
We want all students to have a great place to study and research and we realise that what suits one student doesn't always suit another. This is why we offer a dedicated Individual Silent Study zone on the upper floor for those times you want to study alone and without distractions.
You may eat, drink and work alone or in groups in any part of the Library and in 3rd Space on the first floor of the Student Union building next door.
An Individual Silent Study zone
The marked Individual Silent Study zone on the upper floor of the Library is a haven for silently studying on your own without distractions. The following restrictions apply to this zone:
- Mobile phones must be in silent mode: only texting is permitted.
- Headphones may be used but they must not create a noise that others can hear.
- You must work alone and in silence: talking and group work are not permitted.
Please take the time to find the study area that is right for you.
