Accessible EBSCO ebooks are coming this June and bringing with them a whole host of new features that will make them easier for everyone to read. Don't just change the font size, alter the spacing of letters and words and the gaps between lines of text in the EBSCO ebooks you read to make them more comfortable on the eye and, for anyone with dyslexia, easier to read.
New features
Get your ebooks read to you with built-in text-to-speech software, allowing you to choose any combination of the following:

Play, pause, skip and stop text-to-voice playback of any EPUB ebook

Alter playback speed and volume

Have the text highlighted automatically in the text as it is read

Have the section of text being read enlarged

Display a text-only view of the eBook content on top of the eBook viewer

Overlay a page mask on the viewer page, further highlighting the text being read

Have the eBook pages scroll automatically to keep pace with playback

Select a single word to have it read aloud and defined
Any downsides?
You might not be able to download EBSCO ebooks for a few weeks to read offline (without an internet connection) while they are made more fully accessible, but you will always be able to stream all our ebooks online to any device over the internet that can read EPUB ebooks.
