Our new look referencing pages contain all of the content you knew and loved on our old website but presented in a new an attractive way.  The content is all still the same.  We've ironed out the teething troubles with the navigation and are confident that now the content is all easy to find.

Getting started

  1. Click on the blue referencing button on the right side of your screen (or at the top on mobile devices).
  2. Click on the link for your referencing style. For most students, this will be the "APA 7th edition".  A list of headings will appear in the left-hand menu.
  3. Click on a heading to view the full guidance for that topic.  The headings range from general advice, such as on how to format in-text citations and labelling figures, and guidance on referencing specific types of publication, such as how to reference books, journal articles, or websites.

You will find the content is split into fewer, larger sections than it was previously, but the overall structure is the same as on our old site.
