Students working at computers

Setting up the Outlook app can be tricky.  It tends to default to prompting you to connect to an existing email account - usually your old university Google Mail account.  Connecting to the old Gmail account also makes intuitive sense and everyone seems to crave a sense of continuity.  Sadly, if you connect your Outlook app exclusively to your old moribund Google Mail account, it won't receive any university emails.

That's the problem some students are still experiencing, but don't worry - help is on hand.  Information Services (IS) has produced a new webpage offering compact guidance for anyone not receiving university emails.

If you continue not to receive university emails after following the guidance on this webpage, you can get further help at the IT Help Desk in the Library, the digital hub in Library OA 1 (the little IT hub just along the corridor from the café), or (especially useful if ou are studying at a distance) by calling the IS Service Desk on 023 9284 7777 for assistance.
