You can now book a 1-2-1 appointment with your Faculty Librarian using the new web form on the How we can help Library webpage, making it easier than ever to get access to expert subject specific research guidance, from finding and using subject specialist databases to find complex information for assignments to devising a search strategy for your dissertation or other major project.
Complete the web form to tell us who you are, how you would like us to help, and when you are available to meet. We will then either email you with an immediate response or your Faculty Librarian will offer dates/times for a 1-2-1 chat in person or online. You can still email your Faculty Librarian directly through your Subject page if you want to ask them a question.

It always helps if you can tell us as much detail as reasonably possible when filling out the form, including:
- What you would like help with - including any assignment/essay title
- What you are trying to do - develop a search strategy, find specific information, get started on an assignment, and so on
- What you have done/found already, if anything
What's with all the fine print?
Just in case you were worried by the block of fine text towards the end of the web form, all that really says is that we will only keep your enquiry securely for three months and then delete it. We have to tell you all about how we store and use your data to satisfy data protection laws.

We can help you choose the best places to search for academic and subject specialist research, show you how they work, help you find information for assignments and get to grips with citing and referencing sources you have used.
Find us near the Reception Desk every weekday (Monday - Friday) between 11 am and 3 pm.
