Joining the public library is free and offers great opportunities for reading for pleasure, wellbeing, discover new interests and hobbies, and improve your language skills. It has been shown that anyone can broaden their vocabulary and pick up new and interesting tidbits to drop into conversations from reading more widely. Every student can join the public library – international students on a student visa that does not entitle them to access other public services are still welcome to join the public library.

Princh - printing on the go across Portsmouth
The University offers similar on-demand printing services to our students from 6-9 pence per page for colour printing, depending on paper size, and you can similarly upload documents on the go and then pick them up from any student printer on campus.
