Covid-19 adjustments to Library services
Click and Collect
The Click & Collect service enables you to reserve specific copies of books which are available on the shelf in the Library. You do not need to have proof of a negative Covid test to pick books up from the Click and Collect point.
Please note: It is not possible to reserve books out on loan.
- You can reserve books for collection using the Library Catalogue
- Click on 'Check Availability' to see if you can reserve a copy of a book
- If you are using the Discovery Service, click on the 'Can I reserve this item?' link to check whether the book is available
- Once you have identified the book you would like to reserve, click on the 'Collect' button next to the individual copy of the book
Books will be pre-issued to you and you will be notified by email when they are ready for collection. You will be given 7 days to collect your books. You can reserve a maximum of 10 books per day.
The collection point is located in the Library foyer, and is available when the Library is open. Books are filed alphabetically by name.
Studying at distance, self-isolating, or studying at home?
You can use the you can use the Distance Learners Document Delivery Service to request a copy of a journal article or book chapter, or to request a book to be sent to you by post (UK and Ireland addresses only).
You can also use the Scan & Deliver Service to access a chapter or article from books which we hold in stock.
