UPSU have a little shop that is oh so cheap and little known - the Student Pantry is an exclusive little shop for students - show your UoP student card, pay just £5 and pick up ten items for less than you'll find them almost anywhere else.  You'll hear a lot more about this when the Student Pantry moves to its new home in the Neptune Building, but until then you can find it on the ground floor of the Student Union.

It currently opens twice a week, from 2-4 pm on Wednesdays and 10 am - 12 noon on Fridays, so set a reminder on your phone to pay them a visit and remember to take your student card!

More community larders near you

The thrifty shopping news doesn't stop there - there are Pantries, larders and other food options wherever you live in Portsmouth that offer similar money-saving deals that steeply undercut supermarket prices.  While most allow only one visit a week, you can visit more than one, depending on where you live, and save every time.

Not forgetting Chaplaincy and Student Finance

For those in need, Chaplaincy may be able to help you keep body and soul together, while money management advice and student hardship grants from Student Money can help bridge the gap between loan instalments. Student Wellbeing are also here to help you meet your emotional needs.
