About the collection
Monica Pidgeon, editor of the influential Architectural Design magazine from the end of the Second World War to the 1970s, curated presentations by seminal architects discussing buildings they had designed, including 20 Pritzker Prize Winners and 30 RIBA Royal Gold Medal Winners. The collection has now been digitised as Pidgeon Digital - a collection of fully searchable presentations comprising image slideshows showing buildings with voiceover recordings by the seminal architects who designed them, so you can hear the actual voices of the designers themselves talking about their ideas in their own words. Pidgeon digital now comprises over 285 illustrated talks with transcripts and new talks are being added all the time.
