Our new Student Hub is now under construction. Nestled in the heart of campus, it will connect the University Library and Students' Union to create a modern space where you will be able to study, find support, get involved in student life, and spend time with friends. Opening in Spring 2028, the Student Hub will be a wonderful place to study, relax and learn and forms part of the larger Estates Masterplan, delivering world class facilities that will enhance the student experience across campus.
Nothing about you without you
Building work inevitably involves a little disruption: the project will mean at times that some areas of the Library might be changed or a different temperature than they have been while some of the work is carried out. That's why we are committed to doing everything we can to reduce the impact on your enjoyment of the Library and to warn you in advance of any changes or possible noise disruption. We can supply free reusable noise cancelling earplugs available for you to use with advice on how to find the space that's right for you on any given day and are working on ways to communicate what different library spaces are like at any given time so it is easier for you to stay well and study happy.
If you have any questions or concerns about the impact this work might have on the Library or your studies, please chat with us in person or through our online chat service, or email us at [email protected]
