Having designed the interface of the future, EBSCO has been mulling over all the feedback they have received from students and librarians and have decided that the next interface update will make the Discovery Service look a lot more like it did in the past.  Coming soon to all our EBSCO databases, you can expect to see a welcome return of such well-loved features as:

  • search results will appear as a series of numbered pages, rather than an endless scrolling list
  • search and navigation tools will all appear in one place at the top of the screen under the search box
  • everything you save and all your projects will appear in one place under the 'MyEBSCO' menu

We don't yet know when the changes will happen but understand it will be 'soon'.  Exciting times!

If you have any questions or concerns or would simply like a personalised introduction to the new interface, please chat with a librarian, pop-in and see us (11 am - 3 pm Monday-Friday), or email library@port.ac.uk
