Known problems and help with IT Issues
If you encounter problems using online resources first check the list below of issues we are aware of. Whenever possible we will suggest a work-around. If the Library is given advance notice of service outages, we will note them here. Information Services provide a similar list of more general issues (e.g. networking problems) on their Service Status Page.
People often experience problems with their userid or password - under Further Information below you'll find pages on how to deal with login problems for both your university account and various online resources.
The computers in the Library are managed by Information Services. A number of IS staff are based in the Library - just go to our Support Services Desk and they'll be happy to help. If you're not in the Library, or working outside our staffed service hours Information Services has a comprehensive FAQ list where you will find answers to common questions as well as guides and information on service availability.
