As a student or member of staff, your University printing account allows you to copy, scan and print using the multi-functional devices found near the IT Help Desk on the ground floor of the Library, subject to copyright restrictions.  Printing and copying are chargeable service charged to your printing credit.   

Photocopying is charged to your printing account, at the same rate as printing. Further information about current prices and how to top up your printing credit is available on MyPort. 

Alternatives to photocopying  

Scanning 

You can scan documents for free in the Library yourself.  Anyone with a University card can apply for a scan of journal articles and book chapters we only hold in print for free through our document delivery service

Borrowing  

All students, staff, and adult external members may borrow books (other than those reference copies labelled “For use in Library only”). Staff & doctoral students may also borrow journals briefly for use in teaching.
