There are five toilet blocks provided for your convenience in the Library.

Toilets (including accessible toilets) may be found inside the main entrance, off the corridor leading towards the postgraduate study suite and teaching rooms on the Ravelin Park side (rear) of the building, in Areas 1B and 1C on the first floor, and in Area 2B on the second floor. These toilets are cleaned in rotation, so some are always available.

Accessible toilets for wheelchair users

A RADAR key is available from the Reception Desk to open the disabled toilet inside the main entrance. Inclusive accessible toilets are available inside the library on all three floors, including off the ground floor teaching room corridor, in Areas 1B on the first floor and Area 2B on the second floor.

Where are the library toilets?

The question we are asked more than any other is 'where are the toilets?' Toilets can be found throughout the building. One set are just inside the main entrance on the left hand side. The other ground floor toilets are at the far side of the building, in areas 1A and 1B on the first floor and 2B on the top floor of the Library.

All our toilets are regularly cleaned one block at a time so toilets are always available. If you ever need directions please don't be embarrassed to ask.
