• Bloomberg 

**UPDATE - Sept 2020**
Offcampus access to Bloomberg now available
Guidance can be found on the BaL Faculty's Financial Database Access moodle page

As well as the Bloomberg Suite and pcs in the Richmond building, there are 3 terminals on the first floor of the Library, which are available during our extended opening hours.

These machines cannot be booked but two are only for Bloomberg and Eikon users (other software is restricted). The third terminal is priority use for Bloomberg.

• Eikon (Datastream for Office) 

**COVID-19 update March 2019 - 2 licences are available off campus for students whilst the Library building is closed - please contact the Business Librarian if you require access**

There are 3 licences for this product available to students - two on the Bloomberg pcs in the Library and one in Richmond.

NOTE: These machines cannot be booked but are only for Bloomberg and Eikon users - other software is not available.

Staff can access 1 licence from AppsAnywhere.

The new interface for S&P, includes most Capital IQ financial data, as well as banking information, news and analytics and information on private companies (4,000 companies currently which will increase to 10 million by the end of 2020). 

Additional access instructions:

  • Available on campus or via VPN 
  • Students who have already registered for Capital IQ can use the same details to access this new interface
  • First time users need to register using a University email address - click on NEW USER SIGN UP
  • Getting started registration guide - new student users are advised to the choose Generalist profile when registering

  • Similar to Bloomberg but web-based and available off-campus
  • Deep global company information and market research
  • Real-time and historical information on companies, markets, transactions and people worldwide
  • Ratings Direct covers global, national and regional scale credit ratings and research

Most financial data, except Rating Direct, can now be accessed in the new Market Intelligence Platform (available on campus or via VPN)
