• Bloomberg is available in the Bloomberg Suite in the Richmond building.
• There is also 1 terminal on the first floor of the Library. This machine cannot be booked but is priority use for Bloomberg.

• Eikon (includes Datastream for Office) 

Please note that this product will be WITHDRAWN FROM USE on 30th June 2025.

• Students and staff can access 1 licence from AppsAnywhere for one hour at a time.

Please self-enrol on the BaL Financial Database moodle site and read the AppsAnywhere Eikon access instructions.
Once you have clicked on the Eikon button in the virtual client, you must make sure that you leave your mouse cursor on the black box and wait for the login and password box to auto-fill.

• S&P Capital IQ Pro (previously known as Market Intelligence/SNL Unlimited) 

The new interface for S&P, includes most Capital IQ (standard) financial data, as well as banking information, news and analytics and information on millions of private companies. 

Additional access instructions:

• S&P Capital IQ Standard 

• Similar to Bloomberg but web-based and available off-campus
• Deep global company information and market research
• Real-time and historical information on companies, markets, transactions and people worldwide

There is also a Ratings Direct tab which covers global, national and regional scale credit ratings and research. This tab is only available until May 2026. 

Most financial data can now be accessed in the new S&P Capital IQ Pro Platform.
