If you are unable to visit the library, you can use the postal loans service to request a book to be sent to you by post (UK addresses only).

You can also use the Document Delivery service to access a chapter or article from books which we hold in stock.

Basic general information on accessing Library services and resources is covered on our accessing electronic resources page.

In this section, we offer additional services and advice specifically for Distance Learners:

You will find assistance for the most common problems in our Help with IT Issues section.

We value distance learners and offer postal loans and scanning to help with your studies. You can access the distance  earning pages via the Library website. Select the relevant option and complete the online forms fully as possible.

You can request a scan of a book chapter or a journal article from Library holdings to be emailed to you. If you prefer a photocopy please tick the 'paper copy' option on the form. When using this service you must allow for time delays for the supply of posted items. If you're working to a tight deadline please contact your Faculty Librarian for advice on possible alternatives.
