Abstract

The research aims to understand the integration of mobile phone technologies in modern day marketing strategies. Secondary and primary research were taken to gather insights on consumer mobile phone usage. The research also investigated the consumer’s attitude towards advertisements on social media. The main outcome of this research found that privacy is a big concern amongst mobile phone users and that social media marketing tactics are less effective than what was perceived. Viralbility marketing is a strong marketing form that is difficult to implement due to an undesignated target audience.
