Abstract
The following project is report following the creation of a short Visual Effects Ident designed to show case Portsmouth University and their Undergraduate course Computer Animation and Visual Effects. To develop the project further research is conducted into existing form of project management and how they can be applied to this project and other projects of this nature. The research will look into existing forms of literature that describe industry methods and techniques as well as looking at it at a different angle looking for new way to manage VFX productions.
In the project the development of the artefact will be detailed in stages showcasing the thought process behind the decisions made and critical analysis of the impact of the techniques chosen and how it could be adapted for use in general. In the end conclusions will be drawn on how the project went and how effective the project management techniques were.
