Abstract
This dissertation looked into the factors that have caused online content creation to grow in the way it has, becoming an increasingly popular form of entertainment that rivals the likes of television. In this dissertation many aspects have been researched into such as why are people viewing online content? Why are people creating online content? The growth of online content in recent years and finally what the future holds for online content. The conclusion has demonstrated what is behind the growth and draws links between primary and secondary research in order to help conclude further.
