Brooks, Lewis (2019) Brand new me: a construction of a personal brand package for application in a saturated and competitive games industry. (unpublished BSc dissertation), University of Portsmouth, Portsmouth
Abstract
This paper examines and attempts to make sense of the personal branding phenomenon regarding the online identity of computer game artists, at a time where job security and opportunity into this industry is at a low. For this purpose, three cases are examined and reviewed for their similarities and themes. Aspects of this review, coupled with a review of literature into personal branding and the current state of the games industry, are then used to influence the creation of a personal brand package for application in the computer games industry.
