Abstract
This paper aims to demonstrate the creation of a production-ready character asset for the purpose of film and cinematic industries. Achieved using industry standard 3D modelling software such as Zbrush, Maya and Marvelous designer. The paper will analyze examples of the current normative framework and past industry standards in regards to the creation of 3D character modelling and condense this knowledge reporting on phenomena like the uncanny valley and stylistic approaches to realism. This artefact is intended to visually aid and educate people who are interested in 3d art or the process of creating a 3d character model.
