Parker, sade (2019) 1970s typography: a study on the advances of technology within motion graphics. (unpublished BA dissertation), University of Portsmouth, Portsmouth

Abstract

This dissertation will be written with the intent to inform the reader about Motion Graphic design. By the end of this study, the reader should have an understanding of the different trends, sequences and typography used from 1970s graphic design in comparison to today’s graphic design. The reader will be presented with clear visual examples of Motion Graphic type examples and should be able to identify the similarities and differences between popular 1970s postmodern techniques and the techniques used in Motion Graphics today (2018). This study should also clearly outline the significance modern technology has had within the graphic design industry and the positive impact it has had for Motion Graphics as well as the artists.
