Abstract

With new advancements in virtual reality (VR), new uses for the technology has given interest to organisations. Such fields as healthcare are incorporating virtual reality to explore new techniques on conventional practices, this study will focus specifically on surgical training. This paper aims to create a better understanding on how important this technology could be to surgeons. The versatile tools that comes with virtual reality could open new doors in aiding in operations and learning. Although VR is becoming mainstream the actual uses for it outside of entertainment field is relatively not known to the public. An interactive poster will highlight the main information gathered from research conducted and focus on whether an interactive poster is the best way to educate readers on the subject. To find out whether the poster worked a survey will be created to find out the respondents have retained knowledge by giving their feedback on the experience.
