Abstract

The coronavirus began in December 2019 in Wuhan China and in the 18 months since then it has changed the world in how people are able to communicate and how businesses operate. The pandemic and ensuing lockdown has also changed the social lives of many people. Video games have stood out amongst this as a popular hobby for people to full thor boredom during the pandemic. However, what has happened to the industry while the demand for games has increased and what effects could coronavirus have on the industry going forward.
