Abstract

My research project consists of Chinese to English translation of 10 different fairy tales written by an unknown author. It is retrieved from a Chinese website. Firstly, the literature review with methodology is discussed, followed by the translation commentary which is divided into three parts: ST analysis, translation challenges that were encountered while translating the ST and translation strategy.
