Abstract
This research project examines the impact of cultural diversity in the workplace, moreover, it focuses more on the individual’s perception and attitude toward people from different cultural backgrounds when attaining organisational effectiveness. This study is based on primary research of preliminary data. The data were collected by online questionnaires, and the responses were gathered from 15 participants from all around the world. The significance of this study is that it informs the theoretical understanding of cultural diversity by introducing a focus on the presence and perception of cultural diversity in global workplaces.
Firstly, the research of relevant academic literature is discussed, followed by a methodology utilised to conduct primary research. All the results are presented, and following findings analysed and discussed to show the importance of the culturally diverse workplace, as well as the strategies on how to manage this workplace. In the final part, the conclusions are drawn, and it also proposes further study into cultural diversity in the workplace.
