Abstract
This project explores procedural terrain generation (PTG) in 2D environments, combining industry-standard methodologies to innovate within the genre. Focusing on creating dynamic, realistic environments, the technical demonstration adats recent research to 2D applications, incorporating key features such as a well-implemented save system and strategic multireading. The successful demonstration showcases the potential of PTG in 2D environments, paving the way for future research and development in this area.
