Abstract

This report dives into the process of creating a modular AI system for a client. It determines the criteria by which this client project can be considered successful - is it modular, is it considered good AI, is the client content with the final product? In order to know know what good AI is first it is needed to know what makes AI bad, Through researching it is concluded that thye most important in good AI is player immersion. 

The report describes the design and implementation of a melee, ranged and elite enemies, with the theme of fish-people. What are the inspirations for the design? It showcases how modular code can be used to create different AI systems that can be used as a base of even more advanced game AI.
