Abstract

This study examines leadership, sales management, and motivation within Nigeria's fabric industry. Utilising qualitative methods, it investigates the industry's complexities through a literature review and interviews with key stakeholders. Leadership quality significantly impacts decision-making and market adaptation. Understanding consumer behavior and addressing government policy challenges are crucial. Employee engagement and technological adaptation are identified as critical factors for growth. The findings offer a comprehensive understanding of the industry's challenges and opportunities, emphasizing the need for effective leadership and strategic responses. This research contributes valuable insights for industry practitioners, policymakers, and researchers, fostering industry sustainability.
