Abstract
Leadership is of interest and concern to organisations and societies as a result, it has gained global attention. According to studies, the idea and application of leadership styles have their own unique relationship to organisational performance. As a result, established organisations and associations are interested in and concerned about the topic of leadership. It has drawn attention from all across the world because the phenomena continue to be widespread. This is a result of the general recognition that a leader's style may significantly affect an organisation's performance and growth (Goleman, Boyatzis, & McKee, 2002).
The decisions made by leaders have a significant impact on the entire functioning of the company, according to Cloe (2004), and many employers take both practical and leadership qualities into account when hiring new employees (Grint, 2005). Therefore, it is crucial for managers and leaders in an organisation to give workers the tools they need to perform effectively.
Workers in organisations and institutions today are more challenging and demanding, more analytical, more self-centred than ever before. It is no longer sufficient to simply assign someone a job and tell them what to do. People are eager to take part. They would like to discuss their work. They desire regular performance feedback. It's not enough to just give someone a job and tell them what to do. People want to take part. They want to talk about their jobs.
