Abstract
The link between humanity and society is such an important connection that a separation is unthinkable. Evolution is a necessary aspect of survival, and humans have always been characterised by the creation of tools to achieve this goal. From the beginning, with the invention of agriculture and the development of writing, technology has enabled civilisations to emerge and prosper. These early developments enabled our settlements and the creation of the first communities. Moreover, since the Industrial Revolution (18th and 19th centuries), innovations in machinery, transportation and communication have enabled the growth of the world's population and mass production, generating industrialised societies. Today, since the 20th century, humanity has witnessed the awakening of the Information Age, characterised by the proliferation of elements in a new environment or world, the Internet. Digitalisation has brought about a paradigm and a change in our cultures (Kieras et al., 2022). Societies are connected, and physical barriers between states have been overcome. This progress has impacted the global economy, education and politics.
