Key Note a well known provider of UK Marketing reports have expanded the information they provide about the millions of UK companies included in their database. A list building tool allows the selection of companies by any mixture of size, industrial classification, geography, financial information etc. These can then be viewed benchmarked against each other for the last 5 years. Similarly lists of up to 300 companies can be downloaded for direct mailing or output to excel or pdf.
IBISWorld
IBISWorld (on campus use only) provides both UK Industry Market Research and Industry Risk Ratings, together with some Global reports. Using very visual graphics this service divides each report into sections such as industry performance, industry outlook, competitive landscape, major companies and operating conditions.
Other marketing databases to explore include Mintel (selected UK reports) and Passport GMID (largest international service).
