The problems associated with downloading electronic interlibrary loans have been resolved, but please note the changes to our previously issued instructions:

You should test that you can receive FileOpen documents here: http://cds.bl.uk/delivery/Freelink.action?service=FILEOPEN

If this does not work, you may need to install a plug-in into Adobe Reader. This is installed on all Windows 7 PCs on campus. Staff using Windows XP PCs can install FileOpen by going to Start - All Programs – General Applications – File Open Plugin for Adobe Reader. Anyone off-campus can install the plug-in here: http://plugin.fileopen.com.

To download a FileOpen document when on campus, we recommend using Firefox. If using Internet Explorer, you will be given the option to open or save the document. Save the document, then locate it in Windows Explorer and open it from there.
