info4education - login problems for some clients

Workaround

It is possible to log into info4education by connecting to the University computer network and then creating an account using your university email address as if you were connecting remotely.  If you are working off campus:

  1. Connect using the VPN.
  2. Click "Create a New Account".
  3. Register using your university email (up######@myport.ac.uk).
  4. Log into info4education using your university email address (while still connected using the VPN).

Some clients have reported they receive an error message on trying to create an account to log into info4education.  If this happens to you,
