Full Fact are a team of independent fact checkers who check claims made by politicians, public institutions and journalists, as well as viral online content. They ask people to correct the record when they get things wrong in order to stop and reduce the spread of bad information. They are a registered charity launched by a cross-party group, and their board includes representatives of different political parties and viewpoints.
