Using recommended resources

Electronic resources

All our electronic content should be compatible with most screen readers and can be supplied in alternative formats on request.  The majority of our books and almost everything on a reading list are available as screen reader friendly electronic books.  Our suppliers offer specific advice on using their products. Most of our journals are also available electronically in similarly accessible formats.  We try to make as much reading list content available in an accessible electronic format as possible.

The Library offers lots of ways to get help with accessing and searching electronic books and journals

Alternative formats

If you are print-impaired and need your reading materials in an alternative format, we can assist with this. This can sometimes be a lengthy process, so the sooner you're able to let us know what you need, the better.  If you think you are likely to need your resources in an alternative format, please contact us as early as possible so we can advise on timescales and qualifying disabilities.
