OSCOLA referencing style is used when submitting work for a module for the School of Law.  Due to the complexity of particular sources, some entries are very detailed.  Make sure to fully read each page.

The Law School has decided guidance for students who would like to cite ChatGPT.

Cite ChatGPT as a general secondary source. See section 3.4 Other secondary sources (page 39) for more information but the outline is essentially:

Student Name, ‘Title of Prompt’ (Transcript, ChatGPT year) accessed Day Month Year.

List this in the bibliography under the Other secondary sources heading (see the Bibliography Example.  Please note there is not yet an example of a generative AI prompt example  When one becomes available, this will be updated).
